- Know the appropriate protocol when reporting to site
- Knowledge of safe loading off loading principles and the need to use the correct PPE, by country/site, and the correct equipment when fastening or loosening loads, i.e. working at height regulations etc.
- The ability to follow site rules and directives
- The ability to understand the risks of working in adverse weather conditions.
- To understand his/her limitations and to take appropriate planned rest breaks on route.
- The ability to work as part of a team
- Interpersonal skills and the ability to communicate in the appropriate manner, and follow specific instructions.
- The ability to liaise with site personnel, crane drivers and banksmen. To safely off load WT components
- The relevant health and safety qualifications appropriate to the job
