The operational phase is the key productive stage of the wind energy process. The operator takes on the responsibility for meeting the targeted performance output and for all measures taken to fulfill this objective

 

Description/Scope of assignment

The operation of a wind turbine begins once the machine is handed over to the customer after successful commissioning and completion of the trials. The operator assumes overall responsibility for the running of the turbine, manages all supplies and discharges and commissions all maintenance, repair and upgrading work on the turbine.
