• The inspection and maintence assignment is to be carried out at stipulated intervals by authorized persons and relates to the follwing equipment: permanent safety equipment for heights, ladders, mounted cranes (chain hoists or cable winches), climbing aids and fire extinguishers

The assignment is grouped into 8 sub-assignments:

• Gain access to or create inventory of machine and equipment data

• Organize all needed inspection devices and equipment

• Inspect personal safety equipment
  

• Assess work environment

• Secure the installation
  

• Establish communication structures

• Carry out inspection procedures
